About Me

Margaret was accepted into the  BFA program at University of Colorado, received a degree in Art Education from Florida International University and a Master’s in Art from the University of Northern Colorado. She spent her career as a public school educator.

Margaret’s textile artwork have  been shared  in numerous museums and festival exhibitions including, World of Beauty, QuiltWeek Paducah,  New Legacies, Rapsody, Art=Quilt=Art, Artist as Quiltmaker and Sacred Threads.  Her work is on display in SAQA global exhibitions including “Beyond the Mirror”, “Aloft” and “Opposites Attract ”. Her quilt “Aunt Gin”  was featured on the cover of Art Quilt Studio. She received the Excellence in Fiber Award from the Fiber Arts Network in 2019.

In 2022 Margaret was a featured artist of the Quilting Arts Podcast and on Quilting Arts TV. She has written numerous articles for the Quilting Arts Magazine.

Since retiring, Margaret has devoted her time to being a fulltime studio artist. Her work can be found at the Arrowhead Gallery in St.George Utah.
